Printing the entire on-screen image. In Windows, you have to save the screen contents to the clipboard first and then paste them into an image editor from which you can print (see Win Print screen). On the Macintosh, press Command-shift-3 to create a MacPaint file of the current screen. On DOS PCs, pressing Shift-PrintScreen prints the current text screen. See screen capture.
